Thinking about stories

As I said in the write-up of the last episode, I am on a vacation. I am trying to do something useful (besides being extremely lazy). I’m trying to come up with the next storyline for after the current story ends. I still don’t know remotely what it’ll be about, on brick-earth? Eno? Something completely different (what?)? That for me is the most difficult part… the beginning (well, that AND keeping everything consistent).

I brought some books along for inspiration…. “save the cat” being amongst them. Do you have any other suggestions for inspiration on good story-writing?
